No, trust me I've hunted for that one too, can't find it since the search engine went all uncooperative on us.

And I also have a truism to add;

Any post seeking to correct the grammer or spelling of a previous post will contain a grammatical or spelling eror (sic).

Oops, did you miss an extra "sic" out there?

OK, updated the list again.  I've taken the best of the ones you've suggested and compiled and amended them slightly, and while laughing at the personal ones towards certain boardroom members, I've left them out for personal safety reasons!

Try these on:

WBT #1: Any thread that is started where the author requests an opinion as to whether or not something they do or have done voluntarily is right or wrong, will end with the author concluding they were right, no matter how strongly the majority who gave said requested opinion disagree with the author's point of view.

WBT #2: Any thread where the author states they are looking to purchase a tin-top and then lists the cars they are willing to consider, will end after considerable debate, further models not on the list being suggested, and the author buying something utterly different from anything discussed or not purchasing a car after all and sticking with their current transport.

WBT #3: Any thread that is more than two pages long ends with a subject totally different to the subject that started the thread.

WBT #4: If a thread asks for a serious opinion, it will not receive it - moreover, if the word "serious" appears in the title, it is open season for silly answers.

WBT #5: When asking if Option A or B is the better, the answer will always be that Options C to Z are infinitely superior (depending on the respondent's deep-seated fears and prejudices).

WBT #6: Whatever the subject, no matter how well thought out and reasoned the subject matter is, someone will take the diametrically opposed view, just to be contrary.

WBT #7: Threads that start, "I can not PM someone" because they are not WSCC members may not end well.

WBT #8: Threads that start, "What's my car worth?" almost certainly will not end well.

WBT #9: Threads including references to dashboard instrument arrangement can only end in one place.

WBT #10: That fact that a build diary is started is no guarantee that it will ever be completed.

WBT #11: Any thread that discusses the finer points of engine types, corner weighting, car colour, Q plate versus non-Q plate, vehicle weight reduction, or any number of other vehicle configuration possibilities, can only result in argument, lack of consensus, and increased sales of popcorn and beer.

WBT #12: When a problem is mentioned and solution requested, the odds against an outcome being announced are directly in line with the number of possible solutions offered, i.e. 15 solutions = 15-1 against outcome being announced.

WBT #13: All road-based Westfields being sold may only have been built by engineers, never driven in adverse weather conditions, and never even seen a photograph of a track, let alone turned a wheel on it.

WBT #14: Any claims to horsepower figures, no matter how credible, will always be met with scepticism unless from an approved Westfield tuner.

WBT #15: Anyone who starts a thread that ends up a bit 'heated' will eventually start another entitled 'Where has my thread gone?", which will contain at least one posting saying "What have I missed?".

WBT #16: Any thread concerning upgrades of any kind will at some point mention carbon fibre, which will then elicit semi-orgasmic responses from others.

WBT #17: Any thread mentioning "Pinto" will at some point also contain the words "anchor", "boat", "lump" and "oil".

WBT #18: In a bulk buy thread, for every ten people that initially agree that it's a good idea, only one will commit financially.

WBT #19: Only one in twenty bulk buy threads go through to completion because of the WBT #18.

WBT #20: In any thread that mentions driving a Westfield in poor weather conditions, those who don't will only say that those who do are "mental", and those who do drive in poor weather may only refer to everyone else as "wimps".

WBT #21: Any post seeking to correct the grammer or spelling of a previous post will contain a grammatical or spelling eror (sic).

WBT #22: If a board member who is either mechanically incompetent, cack-handed, or just not interested in the oily side of things makes the simple mistake of asking about good garages / mechanics for Westfield related service work, they should prepare to duck and cover as the outrage at not "doing it yourself, it's easy" pours forth.

Keep it going, or suggest revisions!

Use the Search facility  :bangshead:  :bangshead:

So you use it to search for a specific thing  and then get 5678 exact matches  ???

you start scrolling through, open a few :suspect:  :suspect:

get lost on page 2342

totally engrossed on another subject matter

2hrs are wasted

then completely forget what your original search was for  :sheep:  :sheep:
