He really should have read the description Quote
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 Sorry to say, mine and friends experience of Ebay and Paypal isn't good when it comes to disputes; it's so weighted against the seller it's untrue. A lot I know have stopped selling completely on there. It seems to take forever to resolve things, and often they seem to just blindly accept the buyers word, even with evidence to the contrary. These days you have to take a view, fight it on principal, and the risks that ensues, or accept that the w****r can blackmail you via feedback, and just take an item back and resell it. The only good thing, is that if you do fight it and the little git gives you a negative, is that these days, you can at least sit it out and wait for it to come off your feedback score. Quote

Not really 'd about one neg feedback & maybe if the guy had been a bit less confrontational i would have been inclined to let him return them BUT he can go f**k himself now! Quote
dombanks Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 Has ur paypal account been frozen? I'm sure I read in the case if a paypal dispute the account of the seller get frozen essentially so they can't just extract all the cash? ( might be wrong tho). I know u don't want to do it but is it worth offering a refund after he has returned them to you and u are satisfied they are not damaged? Can u charge a repatriation fee? Quote

Bananaman Posted August 9, 2010 Author Posted August 9, 2010 Well the dangler has finaly seen sense (almost) Hello Andy, just to let you know that I have cancelled the Paypal claim as the belts do fit after all. Actually, once I cleaned off the dirt and corrosion, they are quite nice belts. In view of your appalling (or should I say non-existent) customer "service", I shall still leave you negative feedback as other buyers do need to know about sellers like you. Customers are used to better service these days. Mike What kind of service was he after, did he want me to come round and fit the f**king things for him? What a knob! Oh! i managed to say dangler & knob without getting *****! Quote
peterg Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 He does seem to think he was buying them from a company with all the backup and service that would imply rather than from some dodgy bloke on eBay make sure you answer his feedback appropriately Quote
Bananaman Posted August 9, 2010 Author Posted August 9, 2010 make sure you answer his feedback appropriately Hi Pete, Don't worry about that........ Quote
Cleggy the Spyder Man Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 been watching this develop - you have my sympathy, what an idiot he is you used to be able to reply to negative feedback with a comment - would be worth seeing if you can do this Quote
