ebay advice

I recently sold some Harnesses on E-bay and they guy now wants a refund as they don't fit his car and wants a refund???

I said there wasn't a refund policy and this was his response!!

came off a Westfield but will fit most 7 type, and other kit cars so long as mounting points are not too far back from usual 7 mountings directly behind rear seats!

Personally the buyer sounds like a right chancer.....

I'd be tempted to tell him to "Go knock yerself the feck out with ebay..."  

It appears to me he's trying to blackmail you with the threat of negative feedback.....I believe there is an ebay mandate against exactly this type of extortion buried somewhere deep in an ebay advice page somewhere....

Looks like he is just trying bully tactics.

You clearly stated kit car.

Report him to eBay and pay pal before he complains and let him try his approach.

Also might be worth calling eBay on their help line, report him for threatening behaviour.

Also the email you have received could be construed as a threat so tell him you have reported him to eBay, Paypal and local Police.

That should take the wind from his sails

I had someone try do the same with me, I ended up telling him as the advert said "No returns accepted" he hasn't got a leg to stand on.  I told him I would report him to Ebay for wasting time. He ended up putting the case to "Resolved" and I never heard from him again

report him to ebay attaching his email. Clearly a threading email with no basis. Once this is lodged reply to him telling him this in no uncertain terms.

Classic do you know who I am and how important I am technique by him. This is the sort of thing people use when they have no other argument.

Ebay probably wont do jack either way, at the end of the day part of their business model is people buying stuff and then deciding they need to flog it.

I don't appreciate your threats and have reported you to ebay & informed paypal of this. The ad clearly states the fitment & there is no returns policy.

And reported him to ebay.....Watch this space!

IF YOU WERE UNSURE THEY WOULD FIT THEN YOU SHOUD HAVE ASKED BEFORE.
