Richgm Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Well Q1 has mixed the grid up. Both the red cars out Lewis out and Jenson into Q2 but with the car in the kitty litter. Wish they could make it this interesting when the weather is stable. Quote
tex Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 i said it last GP and its happened again.. The ferrari cannot race in the wet.. Put it in the dry its quick.. Soon as its wet.. Skitty.. I still dont understand tho why the organisers keep putting the race on during the rainiest part of the day.. Tropical areas always rain early evening.. Dry at all other times.. So why not move the start time to earlier in the day? They have had rain at every one so far havnt they? Not drizzle either! Quote

KerryS Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 I think there should be compulsary rain for every F1 race, seems to make it almost as interesting then as a club race................. Quote

It's down to Bernie and his TV rights. Would have thought the silly dwarf learned his lesson last year when they didn't manage to finish the race. Quote

speedy jon Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 also we all dont have to wake up soo early. but us die hard fans still would get up in the silly hours to watch the race i think moro's race will be a really good with all most the fast guys at the rear finding their way to the front. Quote
pistonbroke Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Could be a good race if Rossy can keep up with Webby in the Mercedes, a wet race should level the field . The way he's shaping up, either Rosberg is the new Senna or Scummaker is past his sell by date Quote
speedy jon Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 well i take what i said yesturday back but well done vettel i saw the start then fell asleep till the ferrari blew up Quote
Fangio2 Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Yes, Vettel deserved the win, even if he is a German someone has to be after all. Another stormer by Hamilton, but then I am biased. What's the general verdict on Schumacher??? Too early to tell? Past it/lost the edge? Biding his time? Just in it for the fun? (no way) Unlucky? (never used to bother him, he made his own) No longer willing to take the desperate risks? Personally, I liked the image of him swaggering down the pit lane a couple of weeks ago and no one giving a monkeys who he is, or was and he gets the same disrespect on the track. However, he is still probably the best brain on the track and even if he's not as fast as he was he has done incredibly well to perform as he has. he is also competitive enough to be a danger to everyone else's safety. A desperate man out to prove something. Perhaps he should have stayed away, he can't eclipse what he used to be. Quote
davidgh Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Race: Very interesting first six laps; nuff said. The committee for the promotion of overtaking got this year's regs horribly wrong. Schumacher: Obviously needs the buzz, but slower than he was, and possibly now a slightly risk-averse family man. For his age, and having taken three years out, (and given the lack of testing opportunities) he's pretty competitive -- he's out-qualied the world champion a couple of times. But expectations were set magically high. Hope he sticks with it. Quote
pistonbroke Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Good race IMO , marred by the sheet commentary , not one of the best races "for sure" but plenty of track action all the way through . No place changes up front but made up for by plenty lower down the ranks , good stuff from the new boys mixing it with the old uns . Red Bull got things right this time though Webber looked really pizzed on the podium after being Vetelled Thankfully the directors concentrated on the "races for places" rather than just showing the leading quartet . Thought Button did well recovering from a bad start and the wrong tyre stratagey . Hamilton was magic to watch but McLaren need to do some homework on there . What they wouldnt give for a racing brain like Ross Braun's Quote
thos Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Hamilton has certainly made the last 2 races interesting to watch - I'd love to see some stats on overtaking moves so far this year. The Mercedes team are looking a little bland this year, I hope they dont go the way of Honda and start to drift into the background and down a few rows of the grid. Maybe some european / phase 2 upgrades will see them mix it up a bit more! Should give Schuey some time to settle back into the groove. Quote
thos Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 What about Alguesari's moving on the Williams? Nice. Quote
