There will be a number of activities on-going throughout the day like a slalom courses, hairpin bends (drifting practice) a sprint course and 1/4 mile drag race.

Maybe I'll hang on to my old wheels and tyres for another month or so  ;)

Guys, stop the panic!!!!!

There is no noise limit at Alconbury (they have stuff there that's far louder than any Westy would be) IRRC I already posted that.

This event is being run strictly for us and AFAIAA we are thye only ones in the venue that day, I assume that all nessasary paperwork will be done at the briefing as it was not requested at the time of booking.

I'll check on the situation with driving licences/helmets.

Mark, I'm pretty sure your lid conforms to 6658 (or equivlent)

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE.

Just had this from Ben by Email......................

Chaz,

Some of your party may have noticed a refund on their accounts from Easytrack for the Alconbury day. Unfortunately we have parted company and I was running our day under them to have the required insurance.

I am away on holiday until Thursday and then working all weekend. I will be speaking to my previous insurers to see if there is a solution. I don’t want to cancel the day and this will be my last resort. Ultimately my decision has to be whether I can do enough days in a year at Alconbury to foot the circa £3000 public liability cover bill.

Please give my apologies to your group and I will be back to you asap with a definite answer.

Thanks

Ben.

It's self explanatory and I'll keep you all informed as to what's what.

For those that paid can you let me know if you get refunded.

If it all goes ahead we'll need to pay again I assume.

I'm hoping the day is not cancelled as I was really looking forward to it

Watch this space.

That's a shame - I hope he can get it sorted.

I haven't got a refund yet. I guess we should contact Easytrack directly.

David
