Nice driving Dave, looked like the weather was kind,what was the yellow and green 7 style car, looked like it matched the power of yours,or were you just playing with it?shame you could not make Alconbury it was a good day with a good bunch of lads.

Would of loved to of done Alconbury but had Bedford booked before the reserve list dwindled down.

That's another locost with a turbo Zetec must be close to 300bhp with the boost hes running was surprised i could get anywhere near him guess last winter sorting the geometry out on mine payed of

The small angry one seemed to ba a bit of a natrual................

He then let the car have a go on it's own which it seemed to enjoy so much it wouldn't come back.......

Matt was gaving a great time in the IX untill it chomped a wheel bearing, no number of "Mr Fixits" could effect a repair so it was duely retired.

Matt returned later with the wife's RX8 and broke that too  

Paul begins the painfull process of running in the car which includes shotblasting the rear arches with runway grade grit.

At least he saw plenty of sideways action.........

I then let Mark J drive Jess with Sam keeping an eye on him.

Shortly after this pic I went and hid behind a bush with my fingers in my ears......................

This is the 33rd spin that Mark J acheived in Jess in less than 10 minutes while the smooth, calm, cool and collected Sam egged him on  

Meanwhlie Liam had another smoke.

And returned with the President Of The Galixy who'd been wondering around the cones around looking for his Light Sabre  

Then Sam did a demo drive in a Porche, absolutly no sideways action was seen at this time, he only abused everbody elses cars...........

Whilst Mark J continued to destroy tyres, runway lights, cycle wings and everything else that got in the way.

I didn't take as many pics as I thought Clark, I thought I had some of everybody, I deffo had some of you, Steve, Bryan, Tony and Matt but they don't appear to be on the CF card I was using.........

Ha, not only did my car lunch the bearing, it took the hub with it, mullered the bearing seat.  New hub and bearing ready to go back on, maybe tonight.

I was having such a good time too.  I want to go again, does Ben do many days at Alconbury?  This was probably more fun than a trackday, not that I've done one of those in the XI, as I understand they frown at spinning off!

Slightly off topic, I was over at Bruntingthorpe on Saturday watching my brother driving an R8 and GTR.  Took the opportunity for a lap in an Atom.  The acceleration leaving the "pits" was so quick my stomach flipped like on a humpback bridge.

I was not "avin a fag" it was my old doris getting seven colours booted out of her plus a substantial amount of tyre smoke

Dave, enjoyed the videos especially the bit where Kev was laughing his nuts off as he went past you the second time you spun  I'm always up for a ride out mate as long as you dont do lots of spins

Chatting with Ben he is trying to fill his diary with events at the moment, and will adjust his prices according to the numbers going.

If there are four cars I think he said it was £199 per person, and he'll leave the sprint course up all day. Now that sounds like fun... Stopwatch at the ready.

So Matthew, we have both you and Chaz in the fram for this years unleliability trophy. You both broke down twice on one event.......going to be close this year.
