potenza
'Westfield Sportscars and Potenza Technology will be displaying the winning entry from an international design competition for an electric Westfield racing vehicle to be launched in 2010 in the world’s first electric one make race series. The winning entry from Elliot Hawkins, an up and coming new designer from the Royal College of Arts provides an exciting new design direction for the company. Designed specifically for manufacture from lightweight, recyclable vacuum formed panels, the concept will be developed to full scale for early 2009' This will be launched at a low carbon vehicle event being held at Millbrook on the 28th October where a new funding programme is being launched by the government. Images of the vehicle design will be posted at the time of the event. Paul

DickieB
Excellent news - well done! I've been waiting for this, as my MSc thesis was in hybrid electric vehicles (although an 80,000Kg Challenger 2 tank rather than a 600Kg Westfield!)
