I'm hoping they're to the spec ordered as there was initially some confusion. I was also a little displeased that the price has gone up Quote
Chasmon Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 My harness' turned up yesterday. I originally ordered 3" lap straps but when I spoke to Ashley he recommended I change them as Scoth recommend the 2" for a westfield as they sit better on the pelvis and are therefore actually safer... Therefore I gave credit card details and changed my order to 2" lap staps. I also ordered bolt down shoulder straps... Arived yesterday... 3" lap straps and clip in shoulder straps. I don't mind too much as you can put wire through the clip to stop it being unclipped (without snipping the wire). Not too bothered about the lap straps either as I guess they'll be fine when fitted. Going o fit one pair and see how they feel anyway. Thanks again for organising this. Hope everyone else gets what they are after soon. C Quote
green-light-on Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 Going on holiday tomorrow for 18 days got a house sitter coming in to look after the cat, stops him eating the furniture and tow rags that think they can help themselfs to my gear, so wont be around to answer emails or calls from Ashley if he gets in touch, i will give him untill my return and thats that, i will buy them from someone that understands customer care, price gone up ? The Great Fandango Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 Stuff always (and I DO mean ALWAYS) happes to me... I'm gonna bet some serious money my order doesn't come through 100% accurate. If I don't get the clip on shoulder strap attachments and 3" wide shoulder & lap straps I'm gonna make a complaint. I'll give the benefit of the doubt for know and keep you posted. PS: It says "Fast Next Day delivery" on their website so why is he saying Monday? Quote

Tried to return the call a few times to no avail.. I'll be trying again on Monday and Im letting him know the disapointment we all feel. I think he's looked here and read the thread a couple of times so hopefully he'll get the unhappy picture.... Im really sorry for the way this has gone guys, Im not sure how something so simple has turned out such a nightmare, maybe I have to take some of the blame for not constantly keeping the presure up on GPR. The whole idea was so simple, we all phoned him up, (which was his idea) gave our money details and a week later we all got nice new harnesses!.....and they got a couple of grands worth of business..... what could be simpler.....
