Bean Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 Guess I should check what I weigh, but I'm scared! Do it at night before you go to bed then again in the morning as soon as you get up. You will have lost up to two pounds overnight. Its a great feeling and gives you the justification for a bacon egg and tomato sandwich for breakfast I don't even own a pair of scales Quote
Bean Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 Well I bought a pair of scales, measured myself this morning. 14 stone 5 pounds Diet begins today Quote

Losing weight that fast isn't healthy over weight people store water as well as fat ,the first 2 weeks will see the best results in weight loss exercise and diet will not see a decline in muscle unless your a bodybuilder which has it's own rules on diet and eating well done Jeff 5lb a week first 2 weeks for an over weight unfit boffin is about wright tho exspect the weight loss to slow down as you become fitter and your body learns to live on low caleries Quote
Asterix Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 though I'm not being as inspired as you guys in terms of exercise, my alcohol and bad food avoidance exercises over the last 2 weeks have seen a weight loss from 13st 7lbs to 13st 2lbs. Sadly, for the first time in 2 weeks, I'm back on the Rosé tonight. I have actually done some weight training...I've carried my jogging kit from home to work. Hoping to break through the 13st floor soon [must beat rushpuff, must beat rushpuff, must beat rushpuff, must beat rushpuff,... . ]. Quote
JeffC Posted January 12, 2008 Author Posted January 12, 2008 Ive remembered now why I packed in running a year ago, last couple of days Im suffering with knee aching and back ache, been hobbling around like an 80 year old going out for a walk tommorow again with the kids and I will do some more jogging this week but if knee and back persists I will have to think about trying a gym and doing some cardio Mark.. where did all that come from , wouldnt have had you as a keep fit guru Quote
