adamnreeves Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Been on the bike again, heartrate going at between a 105-115. Is that good or bad? With that heartrate you are talking about a motorbike aren't you Excersise bike. I take it its bad then not if you're over 70 years old. Push a little harder Quote
cidersurfer Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 14 stone 9 here, I didn't put on any weight over Christmas, actually may have lost some! Quote
pistonbroke Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Out this morning , managed to walk 30 secs then had to lie down feeling better already Quote
Guest Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 I think it was Dave Allen who asked - have you ever seen a happy Jogger? Never seen the point of running. Walking allows you to look at the scenery. If you want to get somewhere close, use a bike. For somewhere wet, start swimming. Otherwise it is planes and automobiles for me. But.....for those who choose or are compelled to take this route ... good luck. (Please avoid the current fashion of running in the road or on cycle paths, at night, in black!) Quote
Bean Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Walked to the train station yesterday and back afterwards, to get the train into London. About 1.5 miles each way. Had motivation, followed a young girl with the cutest tight little a**, nearly missed my train going the wrong way. Quote
kingofthetwisties Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Can't be done with walking, I get bored to easily. Howver, with this running lark it's all over in 20 mins and i can get back to the sofa, my TV, coffee and cakes. Am I missing the point somewhere? Quote
