If any of you fancy a bit of motivation/challenge there is a half marathon in March.  I did one at the tail end of last year with barely any training and still enjoyed it, the bonus of this one is you will actually be running round the Silverstone track (So I've been told)... a track day with a difference!

EDITED - Put the scales on hard flooring as opposed to carpet.

Weight 14 stone bang on, not exactly fast weight loss but that'll do, considering the weekend indulgence

Don't be dis-couraged, sure you lost some fat, you might have gained a little lean mass. If you are not going to the you know what on a regular basis then that would not be helping! Make sure you are drinking plenty of fluids and having enough fibre in your diet.

Broke through 13st for first time in months the other day (going the *right* way) based on not eating crap and watching the portions.

Still no regular exercise though (unless typing counts?) and alcohol seems to have a hold.

Alcohol does have a quite a hold on me, but I've cut down a lot.

Watching portion sizes and avoiding blatantly unhealthy food seems to work. :)
