Emma
Come on guys, get your entries in for this!!! The closing date is only a month away on 14th May, so get your entries in asap!!! You cannot enter on the day, so please don't hang onto your entry waiting to see what the weather will be doing and expect to turn up and be able to run!!! This will not be allowed, under ANY circumstances for ANY driver!!! I have been asked to let everyone know that the man doing the catering for the event is prepared to put his grill on on Saturday evening, provided there is enough interest in him doing this. Don't have any further info about this yet, but if anyone wants to know more, let me know!!! See you there!!! Emma

Buzz Billsberry
Morning Everyone. At the Yorkshire Area meet last night the Yorkshire Experience Team had our last meeting before the event. All things are now in place with only a few loose ends to tie up. As most of you are aware the Yorkshire Experience is only a matter of 25 days away. So if you would like to do this event then please get your entries in quicky as the places are getting thin on the ground. I would also like to confirm for the people who are coming up on the Saturday, the caterers have advised us if there is enough interest they will cook food on Saturday as well, but obviously they will not fire up the grills for a couple of burgers!. Volunteer wise we are nearly where we need to be, however, we still need YOU so if you can lend a hand on the day please email me. Run Tickets Please not tickets WILL NOT be despatched in the post prior to the event. You will be given them once you have signed on and collected your wristbands on the day of the event. No signing on, no wrist bands then no drive. I WILL be policing this. Emma will be contacting you via snail mail shortly this will give you a break down with the procedures for the day. Safety As with last year there will be a chicane cone after the finish line ANYONE HITTING THE CONES WILL BE GOING HOME: NO EXCEPTIONS Final instructions as mentioned before will be out in the post shortly For the Saturday night entertainment as ever the marquee/ disco will be in place. I’ve also had a word with the big man up stairs and I’ve booked a days worth of sunshine for the event so bring your bikinis and a sun tan lotion. Ok that’s about it if you have a query or any issues then please contact me via email Buzz Yorkshire A.O Yorkshire Experience 2007 Organising Team

minisweeper
Are there still spaces for this? I just got back from NZ this morning so I'll be calling the Bogg Bro's soon. Did you get my email about the trailer buzz?
Major Stare
What is this event like for a spectator? I will also have my 4.5 yr old son for the day, would he be able to spectate also?
minisweeper
Assuming it's the same as most time the hillclimb is open then spectating is fine. I sometimes head up there with a friend who has a 4 (i think) year old kid who loves it. There are plenty of different viewpoints they can go to and get a pretty reasonable view of a section of track. It's hard to explain (especially at 8am for someone with jetlag) but in short I think you should be fine...

slippy
What is this event like for a spectator? I will also have my 4.5 yr old son for the day, would he be able to spectate also? There is a section with benches near the final straight which is raised and well back so safe as houses and due to the nature of the hill you can see most of the course
Emma
Hi Mini I dont recall the name, but will double check when i get home and let you know! The only people who haven't had acknowledgements are those who sent their stuff in over the last few days, or those who handed me their forms at the last club night - as I need to send further info out there is little point sending 2 sets of letters out, so everyone will hear something early next week!!!! Everyone who has entered to date has definately got a place!!!
