Martin Keene Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 And unless you have experience of painting GRP it can be a real b***h. Needs special elasticised primers (and possible paints) to prevent it cracking, flaking off, etc when the GRP moves. Quote

Sir Greg Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 For me the graffiti stuff wouldn't work....... I love the clean look. Even when I was rallying I hated having to put numbers and event stickers on my nice freshly painted car...... I don't even like logo's on t-shirts.... Quote

Kev Bamber Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 Kev bamber, at the time you were considering this what adeas did you come up with We didn't sketch up ideas but we had seen some of that square lettering graffiti by the lockup were were in at the time so if had found an artist, would then have given him free rein with the car, and if it didn't work, blow it back to primer after he had left! It ended up flourescent pink - I took the Rage extreme colour catalogue and some sample bits we had sprayed to the pub - wings and a scuttle were on the bar - everyone then voted and flourescent pink won.
