Martin Keene Posted August 23, 2007 Author Posted August 23, 2007 Sorted. Puma have come up a few times as being good for driving, so I went into town and tried a few on, and have just ordered a set of these... Not to bad at £49, very comfortable and won't look like a prat wearing them. Unlike the current cheapo specials. Quote
markcoopers Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Flip flops can be a tad difficult. Ona serious note, don't get blue. You look a right egit in shorts and a helmet in blue racing boots in the petrol station. Quote

Unlike the current cheapo specials. those look like the shoe version and no FR of the puma futura race boots . if they are there what i use (the boots) and the off centre lacing really does make them strangely very comforatble ....... might actually look at those as a pair of trainers ,as race boots tend to be saved for what they were intended , unless i have to drive a caterham on the road ..... westies have been driven in my timberland boots when you have a type 9 tunnel ..... though granted the mt75/v8 tunnels are a tad wider. SteveF Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 I have a pair of adi-racer low - which are great for driving, and walking about in, as they've got a fair amount of cushion in the heel & also thin enough under the ball to feel the pedals Quote
CedricTheBrave Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 just goit some of these for me b'day very nice Colin McCrea Quote
JeffC Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 I always drive in trainers from next . cheap enough at £30 , they have thin bottoms and narrow fit , my nike running shoes are hideous, can nearly get two pedals with one press Quote

Could very well be, they are call something Future as well... I did try a pair on (before ordering online ) and the offset lacing does make a difference. Feck knows why... Quote
