Blatman Posted June 18, 2002 Posted June 18, 2002 Where's Blatman wots he got to say about it Er......[cough].........I've been away. To Le Mans actually. With the L7Club [cough]..... And any way, apart from the odd badge snob, they are mostly a good bunch of guys. Anyone reading Blatchat should expect a partisan (or defensive) stance, especially when questioned about there choice of kit car/sanity. Sensible Blatchatters who lurk, and occasionally post, here also (should) expect a similar partisan attitude from us, as is evident from some of the replys here. Are we SO different? Quote

gee_fin Posted June 18, 2002 Posted June 18, 2002 *sniff* Blatman, that was poetic. Maybe we are all the same. We can all put these differences behind us. Perhaps we can organise an inter-group hug or a hands-across-the-motorway event? Quote
Mark Stanton Posted June 18, 2002 Posted June 18, 2002 Seven inspired cars and there are those that get tetchy about the word Seven or 7 when applied to cars - Just ask the Belgium 7 & Roadster Club "Sevenesque" Until they get tetchy about that as well Quote
Nifty Posted June 19, 2002 Posted June 19, 2002 Blatman, Er......[cough].........I've been away. To Le Mans actually. With the L7Club [cough]..... Catching flies again old boy?? ........apart from the odd badge snob, they are mostly a good bunch of guys. Well, thank you very much. Are we SO different? Now there in lies the truth. To whom it may concern: The above mentioned fellow is of a sturdy breed who absorbed last weekends leg pulling with exemplary fortitude and was an equal with his retorts. He also managed to get his own back by positioning his car strategically near the front of the line on the club photo shoot down Mulsanne. Will there be a little photo editting?? Nifty. Quote
Blatman Posted June 19, 2002 Posted June 19, 2002 Why thank you old chap Photo editing.......not so far.........I wonder if Roger Green will use it though? Quote
Blatman Posted June 24, 2002 Posted June 24, 2002 Can't see that making the front page, somehow............. Quote
ian crocker Posted June 24, 2002 Posted June 24, 2002 And with a file size of 1.5MB I can't see many people waiting for the picture to display if they have a dialup modem! Ian Quote
Ian Podmore Posted June 24, 2002 Posted June 24, 2002 I thank myself for arranging the ADSL 1 MB/minute connection at work For use solely at lunchtime. Uses a standard phone line, see www.powernet.co.uk for info. I have no connection with PowerNet by the way. Quote
Blatman Posted June 25, 2002 Posted June 25, 2002 It's certainly better at the moment, as it appears that Blatchat is down...........I've tried getting in from two different ISP's, but no joy for about an hour now........... Quote
