WSCC boardroom is much better than blatchat.  It's frequented by a completely different type of car nut - those that know (from doing things themselves) rather than the majority on blatchat who just think they know.

Most blachatters (it seems) openly admit to not knowing the difference between a left handed screwdriver and a right handed one. That's why it'll be Westfield every time for me.

Arguing about the merits of each car is a different thing altogether and is best confined to blatchat.

A comment I recently saw on Blatchat.  "I paid £18,950 for my car and I get really annoyed when people confuse it with a kit car".  Says it all really.

And my favourite of all time: "People keep asking me if it has a V8 in it, then they laugh when I tell them it is a 1.8 Rover K series"

How did they compare with Guy Gibson's list 1A times ?  I know Alex Wong was certainly very impressed with Guy's times quite recently.  Guy was running about as quick as Alex did on list 1Bs.

Richard Ince won in the R500, off the top of my head he did a 56s time, I'll check up on the times (as I can't remember where they are on Blatchat!. Dave Edmands (BDR700) had to pull out as his car was too much of a handful, Peter C (255bhp K) beat Arnie Webb (280bhp Vx).

This is all Chinese Whispers and that, I'm awaiting the write-up in Low Flying. What times does Guy do on List 1A?
