Jeff, not wanting to be picky, but can you adjust the picture, as the flymo seems to be a bit tall & thin, no wonder it's not cornering well.........

Im good but not that good I cant make a V8 handle  :D  :D  :D

Suprised the * King of the tartan Rugs *hasnt commented yet..  :D  :D  :D  ;)  :p

Calling Barry Ashcroft to the boardroom  :p  :D  :D  :D

Jeffrey, you little tinker. Shouldn't say one thing and then post the evidence to disprove it. Flat from Tower to Sunny, I don't think so m8........ Was the feathering on the throttle or stuffed into the exhaust & air intake

Nice lines tho'

Newark Car Auctions as promised m8

trys hard not raise to the bait  :0  :0

think I must have sucked in ur Tartan Rug and it quietened down the induction for the vid ..     :D  :D

Flicks through the pages of the SS excuse book.. :D

that forward vid is from the first session on an early  lap,(cold tyres hence the feathering   ;)  ) its  the only clear lap Ive got with the camera pointing that way where I didnt get bogged withbl****  MX5"s

was pretty much flat through the s"s when you were  behind as note  I ventured off the track  onto the concrete

I find the quickest way to get through the s"s is to aproach the first one slower  (hence short shift into 6th )getting a line through the 2nd and then accelerate right through to Sunny  :t-up:  *attempts to teach Grandma  how to suck eggs*  :p

another clip here from different angle shows it better.

:D  :D  :D  :D

Can't believe the V8 catches you up under braking.... I told you not to brake so early :p

Would that be greater front end grip due to massive weight transfer to the front wheels ;)

Or the dirty great snow plough on the front :D

this new bodywork you mentioned??? have you thought of a colour scheme?

anyone photo shop this colour scheme onto the car.. would look soo

.....or the slick tyres assuming Jeff was on A048s or similar?

I was on radial Slicks ..   :t-up:

My pal said it was wierd watching both cars going down the back straights,  when I was in front, the  gap opening and closing .. Even thoughI was getting away out the corners quicker The big lad is coming at me and braking from a such a much higher speed there was nowt I could do  :(  believe me If I could brake any later I would have done ..  :D

Maybe  we could get some calculations done  :D  :D  :D  :D

Chapter 3, subsection vi, clause 14, Tommo excuse manual 2005 (revised).

When on trackdays, give ample room to the vehicle in front so as to reduce the chances of an accident under braking or the aformentioned vehicle spinning in a corner in front of you.

Bewareth the black flag for tailgating

When said vehicle exits a corner *before* you he will naturally pull away momentarily, even if said vehicle is powered by a moped engine.

When the said vehicle is eventually dispatched to the rear, responsibility shall not be taken for excursions made off the track by said vehicle in a vain attempt to keep up.

Tommo hath spoken.

....and in the same manner you'll always close on said car in front under braking, even if he's actually as good or better on the brakes than the car behind.
