mark.anson
I'm happy to pass on my (limited) knowledge too. I'll swap it for your Sunday entry Andy Thanks Andy, Good try......though! You never know you might get luckyon the day. I had a worrying moment yesterday. Had the car at a garage for some fettling and got a call from the owner. "Hi Mark, the good news is your car is ready" "er and the bad news." "One of my customers had driven into the back of it" Fu*******************AAAAAaARGHH!" "Dont worry I will get it sorted". Yes please, and sooner rather than later I hope. Upshot is the car has now got a split wher the spare wheel recess is so it could have been worse I suppose. But impressed I was not!!!! mark.anson
Well if there is a slilver lineing to this, garage owner said he "knew of a lad who could fix it". Being a bit synical I went to sus out the guys premesis. Turns out he is a proper set up who currently makes panels for the local motorcycle dealerships, and used to work for the company that made TVRs bodywork. I will see how he gets on with my car but might be a handy contact for replacement stuff in the future.
adhawkins
As Mark says, I don't see how he can 'fix it' without replacing the tub? Andy
Blatman
If he's a decent dag man, it'll be repairable. If he isn't a decent dag man, it'll be terrible. Good dag men are hard to find...
