adhawkins Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 Hopefully I'm going to noise test my car on the Saturday....Then I'll need a willing volunteer to show me how to repack the b*******...Then we'll retest it and see if we can get it bearable Why not buy one of the pre-packaged ones from Car Builder Solutions. Should just be a question of getting the old crap out, then sliding this new one in. Andy Quote
scott beeland Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 Chatted with Matt at Simpson and hopefully a satisfactory solution has been reached for me Might mean missing MTN though Quote
Rob Marshall Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 Scott I will show you how to repack the silencer. If it is too bad to drive down, come in the other car and you can navigate for me on the tour. Rob Quote

CJR Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Take for one more from the Warks contingent! Will be coming down with robiles (should there be a space?) via Bath ( saying au revoir to older bro' whose emigrating to France at end of month ). Looking forward to a good blat down and back along the A46 if Rob can keep up and, Malc, we'll probably have to do a spot of FFishing up that hill of yours on the way. Being an ex Gloucester lad (Tommy Rich's... yeah!) hoping to meet up with an old chum or two at the Highwayman. Weather's looking good so here's to a great meet! Chris Quote
Crash Override Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Only 1 day to go. Glad to hear your going to make it Chris. Malc. Quote
Rob Marshall Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 I have spoken to Track Developments this afternoon, they will be there from around 11am. Not sure what time I will get there, will depend on Air show traffic. See you all there, looks like it should be a great weekend Quote
Tony Sighe Posted July 14, 2006 Author Posted July 14, 2006 Ah yes! We've made it ! Everythings organised and in place (thanks to all those involved behind the scenes). The (MSA/Police approved) tour limit of 25 cars is pretty much reached and we have 54 people confirmed for the BBQ with more turning up on the night! Just pop along and 'meet your neighbours' - good turnout expected from the neighbouring WSCC areas thanks to the stirling efforts of the local AOs - many of whom will be there! We can just sit back and enjoy the sunshine now!! See you there ? (A now relaxed) Tony Quote
