Could be, although my visor was misting up as well which it never normally does, so it definitely was very damp and cold air.

Baz's bullet cam isnt waterproof AFAIK, Im not sure where he got it but I suspect its not as high res as some of the commercially available kits from RFConcepts etc.

I have been having a look around, and think i might go for a canon mv850i,  has any one else had experience with this model?  It says it has anoluge in, dv out/in too.... With a load of cables to connect to the pc etc. ;)

JVC GR-D340EK Mini DV Digital Camcorder

Anyone heard anything about this camcorder> amazon are selling them for £159 at the mo which seems good.... but i cant work out if it has av in! people on the phone just have no idea what they are talking about at these places :bangshead:      Is dv in ok or have to be av in for bullet cams?

Has to be an AV in if the camera is a composite or s-video device.

Have you tried looking on the JVC website for a user guide? They might have a PDF copy. I have a JVC GR100-EK which has Composite and S-Video in.

hmmm dosent look like any of the new range have av in!  :bangshead:

I have a Canon 850i  , very pleased with it  . you  may find better mini Dv camera but not at the price , seen em at around £290  ish

JVC grd 290 ek is what I have . It has all the relevant inputs for bullet cams and they're a bargain on amazon
