M11 BRD

SORRY, NOW SOLD

Westfield Megabird   -  on private plate M11 BRD

A unique opportunity to own a quality, top spec car.

M11 BRD was registered in August 2002. Built by myself, it took 9 months and over 1000 hours, with an additional 400 hours of mods and improvements since (all documented). This car has been developed and maintained regardless of cost as a reliable, comfortable, usable fast road car as well as a competitive, winning Hillclimb / Sprint WSCC Speed Series car. Competed in the 04 / 05 seasons amounting to several trophies, awards and second in class both years.  It has proven 100% reliable.

The car is widely known and respected throughout WSCC and I’m sure my fellow members / competitors will vouch for my ramblings.

What makes this so special, I’ll let the pictures say the rest…

This is a very very well built car and Steve must be sorry to see it go. This is a serious piece of kit.

What you doing next Steve?

Terry,

Thanks for the comments, but don't worry I won't be far away, hopefully competing at some stage in the season or if not next year.

Saw this car at Stoneleigh a few years ago, for anyone who hasn't seen it, it is very very nice!  :t-up:

Who did the trimming of the transmission tunnel then?

I presume it's made from wood, then trimmed to match?

Cheers,

Mark.

Don't know but it does look good. The tunnel trim has always been one of my least favourite WF parts. (I must admit, I've liked most of the recent Caterhams in this area).

It's all Steves own work (he even made the tonneau/sidedoors). The car is M I N T  and goes like hell too. If I had the cash I'd buy it today no question

Echo everyone's comments. The build quality and attention to detail is without equal. Steve, if you'de not been so bothered about damage, you'de have driven harder and been first in class!!
