Smoking Ban

Just reading this thread made me reach for my cigarettes............    

I have no problems with a complete ban, just about every office, shop etc have been smoke free for years.

As an ex-smoker it doesn't bother me either way *but* it's always nice to see it from a hardened smokers point of view

I can't remember the exact facts as it good few years ago, but there is something like 400 chemicals that go into a cigarette which are classified as poisons, toxic, harmful, etc in all all forms on human consumption yet millions of people regulary and voluntarily take them every day in a fag.

I'm 30 and I can honestly say I have never smoke a fag in my life. And I never will...

Oh right, so you don't disagree with the ban just with the government. That being the case at the next general election if more people got off their    and vote things might change. Well i didn't join the wscc out of politics, i did vote at the last election, however.

being an on /off smoker i say ban it in pubs i wouldnt object to smoking outside and i do consider others while im smoking .my father died from brain tumors caused from having cancer twice .when the mcmillan nurse came to my parents the whole family were there to here what she said .i didnt realize we all have cancer in our bodies it just takes something to trigger it off .and i have my clothes washed every time i go out whether they smell of fags or not i dont wont people to smell my stall body odour when i next wear them:p
