StuartMackay Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 do you think the pic was off topic then?
Phil. S Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 It's a well-known fact that a double layer of pancakes provides excellent protection against accidental collisions with rabbit cages. But if you're a bunny with a single pancake on your head you run an increased risk of serious injury should you run up against your cage. You've been warned.

Its a well know fact that pankaces will disintergrate on impact with a mesh cage what you need is at least a well toasted crumpet.
Phil. S Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 Go to bed gromit. It's far too late to debate bunny Head protection. It's just too important.
stevio Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 that bunny looks like he's pinin' for the fjords ............................... ................is it a norwegian blue. by the way..... up until midnight (for the past couple of days ) this thread was getting quite pathetic. Looking back over all the posts, most(..not all..) people have all expressed very good opinions, non of which will ever agree with the other............... so why are you all still slagging each other off Got an idea........ come to donington in your cars....crash into each other............. winner walks away with most limbs p.s. a good muffin would be better..... and i dont care what you f***ers think, i CAN afford muffins
Gromit Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 I wont be able to sleep thinking about all those bunnies out there with ill-fitting and inadiquet head-gear. Maybe an awareness campain is needed. muffins Muffins are way too soft, you might as well wear a teacake (un-buttered of course).
felters Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 Its a well know fact that pankaces will disintergrate on impact with a mesh cage what you need is at least a well toasted crumpet. Gromit I don't think you're taking this thread seriously. Very disappointing. The key issue is where you buy your pancakes. The only truly safe pancakes that currently meet all Snell and BS standards are from Waitrose and as a consequence can only be afforded by rich southerners. Sadly this potentially means a painful and messy death for all rabbits pursuing motorsport when their hutch is north of Milton Keynes. It should also be noted that whilst they outwardly look similiar the current and lemon flavoured cakes are only intended for photo opportunities and should not be used on track. I think that pretty much covers the main points...
juansolo Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 And all the posts about "bow down in front of the donkey". sheesh childrens playground, pat each others back on your other forum or what.... Absolutely. Can't be worshipping a diety like Donkey when there are rabbits with pancakes on their heads to be considered. I'll shape up in the future and only post amusing pictures of kittens for your critique.
Guest Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 i think thats always been my point .......... to those of us who have spent 5k on a car and can afford to do 4-5 track days a year and not a lot more than that the holier than thou attitude is incredibly frustrating. for me the decision to spend 1200 quid on helemt and cage or do my annual track mileage is an easy one. If i asked you to not do any track days for a year to make some safety upgrades that I say are essential would you OiOi ps donkey - thanks, please come again err , when in any post ever have i stated i have alot of money ? i put a large proportion of what i earn into the westy and have usually earned in the lower half of your survey so you have that wrong . i also gave up a year of trackdays to do saftey upgrades ,both when i fitted my cage and when i rebuilt the car this year . I bought a 500 quid helmet when i was earning less than 20k a year , 1 also bought the car then and fitted a dunnel engine all on a sub 20k salary . So basically you have got it very very wrong in the finace stakes , you have just assummed .
Mark Stanton Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 and deep breaths everyone relax no work till monday its the weekend to take things easy Now where's the delete button gone to
scott beeland Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 Point 1 )right, that stuff asside, scott beeland seems to have absolutly zero brain, for two reasons, (1) cleary he has no clue how to respond to such a thread and (2) I am supprised nobody had taken the oppotunity to show him the error of his ways so far in his life. Point 2) if you ever have the hmiss-fortune to have an 'off', I for one would not be arsed to p*** on you, let alone offer any help or simpathy. MUM....MUUUUM....There's a man on the computer and he's scaring me!!! Point1) Have we met? You seem to know me awfully well Point 2) It's a good job my FRIENDS in the WSCC HAVE come to my aid when I've had an OFF in an MSA competetive event then isn't it (wearing the correct gear by the way ) p******** on me would've stained my suit and stung my eyes so you'd have been little use anyway. Oh and if I WANT to get p******** on I'll choose who by and pay the correct sum for it to happen in the correct environment thankyou Oh and why would you risk yer bunnies health by making them wear a pancake when a MUFFIN clearly offers far superior impact absorption???
Peter Cox Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 Sorry, but this thread is an indictment of how ignorant we all are. A little bit of research has revealed that this is indeed the only thread in which the words "bunny" AND "pancake" appear together. Sad, sad, sad...when will people realise how paramount it is that rabbit safety is paramount.

Do Tesco value pancakes meet the currant BS standard or is that only available on the Finest range. These are important issues and need to be addressed as the lives of poor (or rich) bunnies are at stake.
