Chris_G
Hi Geoff, I could use the Zetec Thermostat housing but I'm not able to go to the MTN weekend However I do know of a few from our area (Bristol & Bath) that are going so I guess we could organise something, let me know if this would be OK and if it is, how much you would like for it. Cheers Chris
DickieB
If by banjo casing you mean a piece of metal that holds the diff and half shafts on a live axle, then yes please to 1 of them! Dickie

geofff
Hi, Chris_G - £15 - how much do they cost normally? This may be OTT or I may be kicking myself later Not a problem re pick up - just get someone to come along and mention your name. BTW It also has the thermostatic fan switch in it. NNew & unused. DickieB - yes you can even choose which one you want! I also have some back plates / various bits etc.. if I remember to bring them along - you never know something might prove useful Potster - old, no where near as good looking as my racetech instruments and no manual telling me how to fit them to my wiring loom pictures sometime this week. geofff
Hi Jeff, This is one where the builder has been able to find an Allegro column and handed it over to WF for lengthening / new Escort UJ for connection to rack. It's been painted !white! and has surface rust - needs sanding and repainting, in black obviously. I was going to get this done in the paint shop at work but I found another column already done Chasmon has sent me PM regarding this and exhaust cover - pictures which I will be posting tonight. If he decides not to go for it you have second shout, okay? Ta Geoff
geofff
Pictures: Potster the clocks are really off - unless you're an electronic genius and you can do something with sticky back plastic ala Blue Peter - you can have them for free! Buy me a drink if you're feeling really kind Ta Geoff P.S. Thanks to Andy for the hosting service. I promise to take all the pictures off on Sunday. P.P.S. The clutch is brand new - I didn't have the dehumidifier on for the first couple of weeks and it surface rusted. What clutch do the guys bolting zetec to MT75 use? Chris_G
Geoff, Any idea if the GRP seat will fit in a Narrow bodied car? Also do you know what make it is in case I wanted a matching one? Cheers Chris PS Thanks (again) to Jeff for the thermostat housing collection...TOP MAN!
geofff
Hi Chris, I beleive it will fit a narrow bodied car. Major Stare was looking at buying it before his better half bought him a Play's kool one! Obviously a beautiful girl! I bought it from a chap on the Isle of Wight (Ebay) who said it was an early WF design copied from a Cateringvan Super 7 seat. I have the old fashioned Super 7 seats in my car with anti submarine fins and no back / shoulder support (I'm from karts and prefer the seat this way). If you'd like me to measure the base tonight I can do. Also the seat comes with ali fixing bracets - not pictured. Ta Geoff
DickieB
Geoff Do you have the crate that the engine came in? I've been looking for something like that for my spare XF engine.... Dickie
geofff
Extra Extra kit: Bright ORANGE Ford plastic crate for Zetec engine - basically ideal for neat engine storage if you don't have engine stand - pint! Yep Ta Geoff
DickieB
Sorry, missed that one! Very interested as long as my XF fits in it!
geofff
Hi Dickie, When you pop over (any idea on time yet?) you're quite willing to take it and try it out. Drop it back if it doesn't work. If it doesn't fit I'm sure a builder planning on using a scrapyard zetec will be along at some point. Ta Geoff
