As a newbie, I took time out to go to the showroom and try suits and helmets on (they had a fair range when I was there, staff are helpful and the sizings can differ between manufacturers)- well worth it if you can spare the time. Any stuff they don't have in stock they will post on FOC if you pay for it there and then. Buy the best you can afford - it's worth it in the long run.
