Sorry you had to leave us when you did, we carried on for an excellent blatt through the Dales taking in Grassington, Arncliffe (for cream tea) and Malham Cove. A great time was had by all and thanks for taking the initiative in sorting out a route. Got back to Skipton for about 6.00. I hope we have some decent video footage though I have yet to download to the pc. If it looks ok I could probably run off some CDs for when we next meet, will let you know here in due course. Suggestions from today were for some evening runs out. I can suggest a few good venues including Fountaines Inn at Linton. Unfortunately I had to leave before the cream teas, will get myself better organised next time, had to get home to clear some room for some wheels and tyres which were been delivered in the evening. Hope you all got home safely. Looking forward to the video footage, Rik if you want some cd's let me know. I can't believe I drove all the way there, round 2/3's of the route with my camera in the car and never took any pictures. What happened to Conrad? mr-rad Posted April 25, 2005 Share Posted April 25, 2005 My rear axle threw out all its oil and on inspection it appears to have damaged the pinion bearing aswell as the seal so i'm looking for a new diff. Yorkshire Rally Spares have one so hopfully picking one up thursday eve to be fitted asap. It sounds like a good day was had by all, Potster rang me to say it was a good turn out and it sounds like you all had a great blat. Features include: 8..7..6 Westfields Lots of wind noise Various startled sheep and tourists Assorted shots of sky, stone walls and trees as we went over bumps Interesting rear view shots in the side mirrors.
