How much do you think my Westie weighs?

My pinto engined car weighed in at 660 Kg SVA with the following spec

Full interior

Windscreen

No hood

No spare

Sierra front uprights (heavy)

Type 9

Sierra diff + driveshafts

Full tank

16" heavy B*****D wheels

No weight saving mods.

Chances are the weight would have been totally different on another set of scales.

Thanks for your info guys.  :t-up:

Popular opinion seems to be around 600-650 kg then. Just wanted to get a good idea from everyone, as I had no idea really of how much it weighs. People ask and I usually say about 700kg.

..Well OK, there was an ulterior motive too. I've just borrowed one of these G-tech performance meter things. It measures G-force and estimates your vehicle 0-60, 1/4 mile, 60-0 and also bhp at wheels. But for bhp you need to enter vehichle weight too. Will see what it comes up with for bhp, as I just had the Westie rolling roaded last week.

On another note, I've just got back to the office after taking the Westie for it's MOT (it's first MOT in my ownership) and I am very happy to say that it passed with flying colours.  ;)

First time that I've had a car do that for about 5 yrs. LOL!

Let us know what the G-tech gismo comes up with. :t-up:

My guess is around 600 - 650. My Zetec engined car was 666 kg, that was full road spec though (carpets and all).
