KerryS Posted March 22, 2005 Posted March 22, 2005 Sorry Megablade but I am right. Assuming level track, energy is 1/2 m v **2, thus to compare you need to do 180 squared divided by 200 squared which is 0.81, so more precisely it's 19% less energy. The speed is 10% less. Lesson over Kerry S CEng, FIMechE, BSc(Eng) blah blah blah!! (the bit before blah blah is true! Quote

David_East Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 A slight hi-jack of this thread. Leopards (Jaguars) don't change their spots The ITV-F1 site says Red Bull are already making noises about replacing Klien with test driver Liuzzi. IMO part of the demise of Jaguar was due to the impatience of Ford for success, and a lack of management / driver stability in the team. Hardly anyone would have predicted the performace of Red Bull this year, based on where Jaguar were last year. However you look at it ,or sceptial you are, points finishes in both races is not a bad start. Have Red Bull management (it's a new stucture with new people) learned nothing or just falling back in to old habits Quote
