Dickie pointed out in the queue for the grid that the right rear was flat. Further investigation revealed it to have a patch about 3" in dia that had worn down to the canvass and a slash in it long enough to put four fingers into! Thought it handled a bit funny... I also watched his lines to see where he was making the time..................but still didn't manage to get anywhere near matching him David P.S.
