Bought a Dimage Z3 in the end. £239. Probably got stung on the memory card. £35 for a 256 meg one....but then we only paid 17 for a charger and 8 li ion batteries.

And we bought it in town so if anything goes wrong it's a damn site easier than sending it back via pixmania etc.

And after opening all the contents we find the enclosed 16mb card(as advertised) BUT inside the camera we've found a 64mb card aswell (now I don't know whether that's supposed to be there....but I do love freebies   )

So 336 mb of memory and will probably buy a 512 or bigger at some point

We're not usually into taking loads of pics though...so we'll play with what we've got 1st

Errrrr I think the answer is....NO.

Must have been put in at the shop for demo purposes coz it's got shots of a camera shop on it.

What d'you reckon to the z3 scott, have you had chance to try it yet?   I'm going to order either the z2 or z3 in the next couple of weeks but can't make my mind up

Had a bit of a go with it but going to properly test it out at speed series 3 sisters and Aintree in next few weeks. Also some photos of my winter mods.

Go for the z3 of the two cameras as there's so little cost difference for a few more features
