Blatman Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 Reckon Lord Benny could probably stretch to reading a great big sticker dow the side of the car. Depends how tightly it was parked... Not that that would change my mind, I'd still have the Carrera GT. Lap times aren't everything you know, otherwise we'd all have BECs... Not gonna bite Quote
Lordbenny Posted December 22, 2004 Author Posted December 22, 2004 Just to let you know, It wasnt a GT3RS, It was black for a start! Full of roll cage, fire extingushers, carbon front seats, harnesses, no rear seats, slammed on the deck. The GT3rs' only come in white/red & whie/blue don't they? Quote
samcooke Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 Clicky clicky : http://dealers.thecarshop.co.uk/romans/index.php?make=porsche You know what happens when you assume Mr B? Quote
Lordbenny Posted December 22, 2004 Author Posted December 22, 2004 Spent last night in my best mates garage admiring his latest aquisition - a red Porshe RS 2.7 carrera replicar, only it's got a 300bhp race tuned 3 litre SC lump in it, Bilsteins (About 2 inches off the ground), cage, modern bucket seats & harnesses. How much............................................£10,500!!!!!!!!!!! Quote
Matt Seabrook Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 Are we thinking of the Cup cars Mr B? Nope. GT3RS road car, such that it is. It is *much* more than just a 996 with a cage. It's entirely clad in carbon panels for a start... As for Matts assertion that an Enzo is faster than a GT3, I'll reserve judgement until an Enzo (or any other Ferrari) regularly beats a Porsche in the same class in the GT's... So I'm standing by my assertion that the GT3RS (I'm assuming that "Porsche GT3 (trackday spec)"...) means an RS) is easily the most capable car for going fast in. Argue all you want, you're all just wrong if you disagree I would still sooner have a Noble M400 I know its not as quick but looks oh so Quote
Stevo Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 Wow, I'd have this one for the plate my initials are SJM Quote
SteveF Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 After seeing the rear of the Zonda - it's gone down in my estimation - those rear lights come from SVC for £30 a pair - then again I was looking at them for the Westie - which I could then say was similar to a Zonda Quote

samcooke Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 I've told you about Nobles before, haven't I? Not that I remember, should I do a search? Quote

Yes you have mate just remind me to tell you about Ultimas when you come down next. I am not going to bad mouth them on a public forum. Just to say after having an in-depth look at one I was not impressed. This may give you a clue as to the likely problems. Quote
Blatman Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 I've told you about Nobles before, haven't I? Not that I remember, should I do a search? Sorry, I was talking to Matt... Matt. Lets have a drunken conversation about them on New Years Eve then... Quote

timd Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 Porsche GT3. If it's a genuine GT3 in "race" spec, then it's easily the most capable car they have in stock. Quote
