the bear
Ahhh, Going for the old everything where I can see it and touch it layout eh Nick. Bet that cost a bob or two, excuse my ignorance but what make is the main dial setup and if you dont mind me asking what sort of cost? Incidentally where is the indicator switch? Given everything that has gone before on this thread I can offer only one critisism.......................... Gets into car, starts it on the 5th or 6th attempt and speeds off into the distance before saying over his shoulder............. Not very clean is it
Nick M
It gets used and abused, not cosseted and polished The dash is the MXL made by Aim in Italy. It cost *cough* (never know when SWMBO might be looking ) The indicator switches are the two green buttons to the right of the dash, just below the hazard switch. They control a timer box hidden under the scuttle. The plan was to move them onto the steering wheel but I haven't got around to that yet. As they are currently located you can't see the green LEDs in the buttons to let you know the indicators are flashing, but that's a minor inconvenience and one which will be sorted in dash v.2.0 next year. the bear
I thought they were just the indicator lights, buttons that flash on the steering wheel, now that is a neat idea. (Goes off to find calculator and sketch pad and keeps it hidden from wife)

Muttleys V8
we should all sit back, crack a beer, and agree that we are all w**kers in one way or another. Hear hear, lets leave it at that and get on with life!!!!!! Steve
Frau Vesty
There are plenty of threads around here which show the respect and friendship normally shown to new people, as indeed I posted an example earlier... IMHO, there was nothing wrong with Andy's opening thread (never thought I'd see the day when I defended ADH ) and he was immediately abused in return. There really was no need for Busa bloke to go wading in with that sort of response; if he didn't understand what was being implied (and I think it was perfectly clear), then he could have asked. It was uncalled for, so why would he expect to be treated with friendship and respect if that is not how he started out by treating others. Frau Vesty
cant beat the rudder system Nick M (edit: I trust you all realise that the lack of a capital letter at the beginning, and lack of apostrophe means that it was not actually I who typed the above... )

JohnCh
but americans will be americans, and brits will only every be funny to other brits.. and a few aussies, some canadians too.. but not when it comes to sarcasm I’ll admit that a lot of us Americans have trouble with things like proper grammar, punctuation, spelling, and geography (okay, the actual list is longer, but I don’t want to get in trouble with our new Homeland Security Office), but a lot of us do appreciate sarcasm – and a properly designed dash (and yes, I do refer to the steering wheel as Rudolph) -John
