pistonbroke
Are you thinkin of just goin friday as a spekky ? Or..... This ........ Track Access and Bringing a Car - details You may pay a fee to drive on the circuit but we must emphasise this will be speed restricted, fully controlled with pace cars front and rear of the convoy. A strict “no overtaking” rule will be implied during these sessions. Restricted to bone fide members of MSA recognised clubs. On the Saturday and Sunday you may also take part in a variety of parades between 2.30pm and 6pm I assume this is the 50 quid or so fee ? doesn,t say if it includes admission for the 3 days , if so its not too bad. would like to point out there is NO racing at all during the w/e Except the gee gee's Top drivers include ...... S.Moss (currently drives a wheelchair) Roy Salvadori (still capable of beating the hell out of a 250F ) Not sure what the other entries are . scott beeland
Still no confirmation of max speed allowed; or whether we have to pay entrance AND track fee. I'll keep trying and post it up. Has anyone confirmed their own booking?
scott beeland
Will confirm tomorrow...but as far as I can gather its £15 entry and £50 track access.....Anyone going? Weather looks ok
scott beeland
Confirmation from organisers today. £50 track fee INCLUDES 1 day entrance ticket. If you haven't booked and want to then you'll have to go pay/ collect tickets at the Aintree ticket office address on the site. 40 mph applies past spectator area then a "brisk pace" will cover the rest of the circuit. NO OVERTAKING

scott beeland
Ah well....another email. If we haven't paid for track access today we can't get it now coz team are at the circuit on thurs onwards and won't take money on the day. At least Silverstone was FREE
