mb893 Posted October 25, 2004 Posted October 25, 2004 Hey, "the red flag flying here" would get jolly tiresome Quote
Blatman Posted October 25, 2004 Posted October 25, 2004 If this is a (now) factory standard vehicle, then with a 1801cc+ engine, a screen and 1A tyres, it'll be in B, surely? And when Westfield produce a similar factory standard car, that'll be in B too, I would have thought. We might not like it, but it is undoubtedly a "standard" factory vehicle... Quote
MartinH Posted October 26, 2004 Posted October 26, 2004 Cue for David Hussey, his 1.6 Striker has inboard front suspension as standard, it also has a massive screen with wipers and list 1A tyres. I believe he's been told the car will be in Class A and that makes sense. However, the windscreen is not "fitted to the dimensions as noted in the the car build manual issued by Westfield Sportscars Ltd" presumably niether is the Cateringvan! Just shows how difficult it is to write the regs and that common sense needs to be applied. Quote
Mark Stanton Posted October 26, 2004 Posted October 26, 2004 that common sense needs to be applied ROFLAO - that'll be a first Martin Quote

Blatman Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 Er, a 2.3 engine is definitely 1801cc+, last time I checked Quote
