S8ight Posted August 18, 2004 Share Posted August 18, 2004 more flex in the joint with braze so less chance of stress fractures. cant remember the exact details but gas doesnt harden the metal up as much as mig etc. been a good few years since i did any welding but prefered gas esp on old stuff.
