Any MSA rule experts out there?

Windy - the way I read the bits you've quoted, it means that you should have an engine that was originally fitted to a MkII Escort AND  Ford made at least 5000 of them.

If Ford had built a truly stonking motor and fitted it to the Escort but had only ever made 100 of them, then it wouldn't be eligible.

But my interpretation of "with the exception of any engine fitted to a vehicle" means ANY ENGINE doesn't it? As long as it's been produced in more than 5000 units.

Still no answer from the MSA - what a suprise :(  ???  :bangshead:

next year they should let me write the blue book  :t-up: rule NO 1  , 1.2.1. ......  no  welsh boy   ...... rule 2 ,1,2.1 ....ever !!!!!!! ,
