adhawkins
Not quite, these are what I have. Not sure exactly what the difference is though! Andy
oioi
how does the R1 Indy compare with the mega blade just out of interest? be interesting to hear thoughts on performance from somebody who has owned both. OiOi
j30fos
Not sure yet, I haven't driven the Megablade. But I can tell you from the manchester boys drive outs and Pauls yellow Megablade, I could catch him on the straights but as soon as the twisties came forget it. Also my Indy weight 520Kgs. The R1 was a stonking quick motor, wiped the floor with a tvr tamora ( funniest momemt, he was well gutted ) I had a race with a 2002 R1 bike, he had to stop further down the road to pat me on the back, he couldn't believe I was so close. I know there is a lime green R1 westy on this forum because he send me some advise when I did my SVA. That must be a belter :-)
DanB
If you want the Wileys you can order them directly from the Australian distributor - http://www.wileyx.com.au. The American website won't let you place orders if the billing address is non-USA, but the Australian one will. Shipping is a non-wallet-bending $7AUD, which works out at about two pounds fifty, and every order I've placed has arrived within a week... j30fos
Cheers Dan but I've found a UK supplier P+P £3, he's offering 50% discount off his recommended Retail price. I'm ordering mine tomorrow.
adhawkins
Why not arrange a bulk order? I'm sure there'd be plenty of interest. Care to share the name of the supplier with us? Andy
