Rob Navin
but the good thing is with all this talk of a divide and the north loosing out we won't get as many southeners moving up to the gods own north. Lets keep the rummor going and keep the shandy drinking southen softies where they belong. I went on a E&D course last week. I think I best re book it
Mark Stanton
With us Middle-Landers having the best of "both worlds" Northern Hospitality without the over inflated southern prices Please don't mention Wales they get a bit tetchy
Rob Navin
don't mention Wales they get a bit tetchy Hardly suprising when you consider that they are from Wales ( Nice race track though ) What we need is a totaly neutral opinion on the north and south. Where is the cultural minister of Yorkshire when you need him ? BUZZ to the boardroom please ...
welsh wizard
don't mention Wales they get a bit tetchy Hardly suprising when you consider that they are from Wales Don't you ever learn??? Major Stare
Ahhh to be in the midlands..............out of any debate "on the fence" Isnt Wales classed as "in the middle" but just left a bit
neilwillis
I think the best things about being in the Midlands is that everyone looks past us to find someone to hate, and we don't hear our own accents! The downpoints - everyone has to use OUR roads to get anywhere, and we live next door to the Welsh, T'North, the Sarf, and East Anglia. Is there anyone I haven't upset now? Let me know, cuz I'm sure I can find something to wind you up

neilb
We’re not telling, as it will only make more southerners come up who think that is normal to drive at 10 mph on a motorway
Mark Stanton
to drive at 10 mph on a motorway Not on the M25 car park they don't bit of rain a shunt and the place was standstill last Saturday late arvo M6 toll is superb - well worth the £

Rob Navin
Why ? do the scots always walk away free ? There allowed to walk around free, didn't we build a big wall up there to stop them coming too far down here though ( great race tracks up there too, and unlike the welsh they know how to drink ! )

chrisbin
and unlike the welsh they know how to drink ! Not sure where you get that information from Rob, but for the record, I can assure you that I definitely know how to drink.... .....I keep practising to make sure I don't forget too! Stella, glass, lift to mouth, pour, swallow, repeat..... And sometimes I'm really adventurous and do it without the glass.....
