For abiout 8k-ish should see you in a Megablade! 6 speed sequential, 12000 revs mmmmmm

Cheers

Kevin

I reckon that would take a bit of finding/negotiating.....

Cheapest I've seen has been nearer £9-10k. But then I suppose as there are more examples around the chances of finding a cheap one increase...

Of course a Zetec is 27 kilos lighter so must be more HP per pound

As usual the ford brigade miss the point.

IMO it is cheaper to highly tune/release power from a redtop VX than a ford and the VX is inherently reliable with a rich racing pedigree when highly tuned ;)

Another example is to look at the cost of tuning a K series  :0  :0  :0

In late '99, it set a new lap record of Nurburgring in 7 min 55.21 sec, marginally faster than the previous record holder Porsche 911GT3

Taken from here

So power is everything if you are only a straight line merchant. Lighter design if you want to go round corners you pays your money you takes your choice.

FWIW, 8k *might* get you the black twin bike engined westy too, with a bit of negotiating. Not sure if it has sold or not yet, but the owner was getting ever more keen to sell it and the price has dropped a lot.  ???

Whatever anyone says about twins, that would represent an awful lot of car for the money!   And it would trounce any of the other cars for that kinda price. :D

Depends what you want it for really...  :t-up:
