Captain Colonial Posted January 13 Posted January 13 If you’re trying to renew your membership but getting this screen: it’s not your fault, there’s (yet another) slight issue backstage. The club has gone from using PayPal to process payments to Stripe, which seems to have greatly irritated the backstage software. If you are among the “lucky” members who have been affected, please reply below and I’ll fix it for you. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. Those responsible have been fed to a herd of venomous flesh-eating rabbits and their clothes given to charity. (I often wonder if members read this far down.) 5 Quote

Received notification on Friday that my membership was due for renewal. Keen to do this. Did as instructed but no ‘buy it now’ button. Sent email to membership secretary as linked. Now restricted access to club site so cannot send PM’s to resolve. Sent another couple of emails with screenshots but these have bounced back as undeliverable. Just received an invoice which does have a buy it now button but it does not reflect the £18 I paid last October for the paper magazine. Quote

You’ll find this: Click on Pay Now. I’ve just tried it by logging in as you and it does work. The £18 credit is on the next page. 1 Quote
