Just under 2 weeks now to go before the tour! Is everyone ready?

 

I have just created the tour Whatsapp group chat so we can all keep tabs on who is lost where 🤣

 

Ive added the folks who's mobile I know and emailed the rest with a link to join the Whatsapp group.

Just to bear in mind……

 

This weekend is the Dave Myers “Dave day” whereby bikers will travel from London to Barrow in Furness. 
Last year the event attracted over 46000 bikers travelling up the M6 to Cumbria and ending in Barrow. 
We may see a residue of these so please bear it in mind, sunday could be a busy time. 
I’ll put on a plan of the route they’re taking but more can be found online.

Thanks for the heads up. I assume majority will travel up on the Saturday. I hope so! It’s potentially going to be busy on the road to Kendal from the M6 jctn 36 so may be worth going on to jctn 37??

Anyone coming who knows the local area got any suggestions? We could go up through Wales and take the A roads from Shrewsbury but could be tiresome and long!
