Just picked up an email ahead of the show, which I assume most of you have also received. Not sure how to interpret this. Maybe it's a simple as 2 events next year, one branded as a Festival sans racing, and the other as a Classic sans concerts? Anyone ever been to CarFest?

 

...earlier this week, it was announced CarFest will be taking place at Silverstone over the August bank holiday weekend next year, which means that this will be the last Silverstone Festival in its current form. It marks the end of an era, with a new chapter beginning in 2026.

The summer of 2026 will also see the return of a Silverstone Classic event, which will focus on classic car racing on the iconic Grand Prix circuit, and displays of classic cars. The enthusiasts among you will still have the chance to admire these motoring icons up close.  Further information and dates will be announced soon.
