Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Meet at The Tea Junction Cafe, Hulme End, SK17 0EZ 10am. We will go for a wriggle around the Peak District and finish at The Bentley Brook Inn where @AndrewBClarke is hosting his Christmas dinner doo. If you are not booked onto the Christmas doo then it's not a problem, refreshments are still available in the main bar of the pub. Note - this is on a SATURDAY SATURDAY SATURDAY Weather dependant, members only on the run please. Who is coming? 3 Quote
AndrewBClarke Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Would love to but better not. You wouldn’t want a lumbering Range Rover in the convoy. Besides, Clare will be with me in her finery ready for our meal at The Bentley Brook and apparently she doesn’t want ‘hat hair’ whatever that is!! 2 Quote

Steve Bosworth Posted November 6 Posted November 6 Afraid not, I’m having another operation on my arm on Friday, so I’ll probably not be out again this year.😔 2 Quote

Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative Posted November 6 Author Posted November 6 Good news, two lots of good news. Firstly the weather is still forecast great (about 17 degrees higher than the minus 2 that we endured before last year’s Christmas meal 🥶) dry too. Secondly , Dave and Ian are joining us 🚙🚗 3 Quote

Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative Posted November 9 Author Posted November 9 7 Westfield's and their hungry owners met at Hulme End Tea Junction for drinks only, in anticipation of a 3 course Christmas dinner at lunchtime. We welcomed Matt, who was joining us for the first time in his green Westfield Sport 250, very nice, take a look here Sat in the cafe, Glen sporting his double fractured thumb 🤕 Ian in Bagpuss, his en-suite Westfield 😁 It was cold, still and rather suitable weather for driving our cars. My opinion is, winter is the best time to be out in the Peak District with your Westfield. Like today, the roads were dry and very empty, nothing stopped us on our excellent route, turn after turn, excitement building as we knew that this was good and there was only better to come, the grande finale of the Bentley Brook road. Ian temporarily parked in his favourite spot when we arrived at The Bentley Brook Inn, Ashbourne Glen provided the strip show in the car park After a little photo we went inside to join the others at the Christmas Party. It was just great to see everyone, even without their cars, this is a great social event, the biggest outside of the big kit car shows for us. Thanks for coming everyone and joining us on the run out. 7 Quote

Paul Hurdsfield - Joint Manchester AO Posted November 10 Posted November 10 I did this years ago with an old piece of vacuum cleaner hose, just connect one end to the passenger side heater outlet and stuff the open end up your jacket, it worked a treat, of course the rest of the Manchester crew took the p1$$ unmercifully😮 then I discovered Aldi heated seat covers and never looked back.😎 it’s nice to see one of the youngsters copying my idea 😛 1 Quote
