Rob Hunter - Club Secretary
I'll be coming along too. A few of us will be meeting at the A38/A50 services (DE65 6DX) for a 9am departure. We will be passing the Co-op in Wirksworth at about 930am if anyone wants to tag along there before we land at the Whitworth at 10ish. The route will be all quick B roads once we get to Duffield so should be fun!!

Paul Hurdsfield - Joint Manchester AO
My first run out since last September 🙁 and what a great run it was 😀a measly 116 miles for me, but considering my car was driven 5 miles for an mot and not been touched since last year it did everything I expected, thanks Julie and Glen for bringing us all together, hopefully see you all next weekend 👍
Popular Post Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative
15 cars met at Whitworth Terrace Cafe and it was great to see so many faces that we haven't seen for a while, and lovely to see our regulars too of course. We had a good chat on the terrace. Very difficult to photograph so many cars with stupid lamp posts in the way but here we are in the Whitworth car park We had a special visitor with us today (thanks Lee B), here is Natalia (and Froggy hiding behind her back) with her car, a wonderful young lady full of enthusiasm, she loves cars and going to car shows with her friend Bobby, thanks to her dad for filming us as we left x Allan bought his Westfield out that has been refurbished to exacting standards and now contains a 2.3 Duratec engine. It was an absolute stunner and he was deservedly proud to show it to us all, WOW. We set off on our run out, straight through Bakewell which had EMPTY roads! then off onto the quiet lanes and up high for great views, this took us to The Cow Shed. Those that had not followed my directions were already there waiting for us, hey ho, Wormhill will be there for another day. The roast beef and Yorkshire puddings were eaten al fresco We needed sweet treats next so we dropped down to the Yondermann The Rocky Road was popular @aeg missed out, just sayin' Belgian Chocolate, plus it contained Crunchie pieces, oh my Don't worry Glen, there are no fingerprints on that roll over bar, I am better trained than that Thank you to everyone for coming today, it's been just fabulous to see you all. The roads were quiet, the sun was warm and the cars ran well. For those that are not at Silverstone next weekend, it is a Bank Holiday and we will be out avoiding the tourist hot spots, see you then!
