Washed the Lotus after a 1500 mile tour of Scotland. Sadly the roads were not too kind 😢

I have a Coolex heavy duty rad. Never had any issues with it and the do look great 👌

Swapped the cast iron one for a alloy bell housing, but had to cut the starter motor casing off as it clashes with the chassis.

The original foot plate weighs a ton so you will be glad you made this, I like it! I hope you have some blue and orange paint 😉

It only had a spike with it and a rather large base which you fill with water, so I thought I would make something more compact from bits and bobs I had around the garage, but mainly some aluminium tube from a broken camping chair, some threaded rod and a couple of blocks of wood. After a couple of false starts, this one works well, just needs a sand down and a coat or two of paint.

Got the DA out, never compounded gel coat before, but it's coming up very well. :cool:

If anyone's interested that Meguiars worked a treat, got rid of the minor swirls and not too aggressive. Helps its only half a car.
