Matt_S Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Never regretted buying my 13” CXR’s! I love them despite the limited tyre choice. I would suggest before you fit the tyres is get them ceramic coated, I used Gtechniq C5 wheel armour and the water still beads off of them 👍🏼 2 1 Quote
SteveB21 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago @Matt_S thanks for the recommendation - did you do all the prep GTechniq recommend or just make sure the wheels were clean and dust free? Quote
Tim (Sideways) Johnson - Club Treasurer Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Soft bits half hood and storm cap courtesy of Ben Robson. Just need to sort out some Velcro for the hood and we’re good ☔️ 3 Quote
Tim (Sideways) Johnson - Club Treasurer Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Also a Quad Lock mount for my phone that I’ve made a bracket for and mounted using the tonneau poppers. My suction mount didn’t like having the heater vent blowing on it, so kept falling off. Hopefully this one will remedy that. 3 Quote

I've used it, and to get good lasting protection, found you do need to do the full prep. However, with the full prep, I also found GTechniq's claims for the longevity of the coating, very, very conservative. Though admitedly, post most washes, I do give them a final light spray over with GTechniq's C2V3, before polishing off with a microfibre cloth. (This doesn't affect the ceramic coating beneath, but helps keep peak water beading, and helps stops the dust/dirt sticking) 1 Quote

Yes, followed there instruction and used another product, not sure which one it was now, I think it was panel wipe but I can check when I get home 👍🏼 2 Quote

I used it to do my Jag wheels about 3 years ago. I decided to double ceramic coat them, took me days doing it all properly. Mostly letting it properly set between coats, making sure they were spotlessly clean etc. Was worth it though. 1 Quote
