If the children and wife have stopped being ill then I will hopefully make it. As long as I don't get the bug.....

For anyone travelling from afar, we will be hanging around for a while so please drive to the conditions of the road and arrive safely, we will save you a seat in the warm cafe.

Looks like it's going to be colder than a penguins undercarriage, but I might dig out the heated gloves and come along for breakfast 👍

If there's still no salt on the roads by Sunday I'll be there 😊

I did that today when I went to fuel up the Westfield, one of the batteries has died, new one ordered and Amazon Prime are delivering tomorrow.

Well, driving over to Bakewell earlier, there was a measurable depth of grit and salt on the '13 bends'. The temperature got down to -5C last night here and is meant to drop lower tonight and tomorrow, so I expect there may be more spreading over the next 48 hours... You might find and untreated stretch somewhere, but that may take you straight into the hedge.

Luke.

The ice melted here today, the batteries have arrived for my electric gloves, so we are ready to roll in the morning.

Just in case of any confusion with this meet and the Santa Run next weekend WE ARE MEETING AT QUACKERS AND WEARING NORMAL CLOTHES THIS WEEK

I will hide the other post until tomorrow evening

Sadly it looks like I've had my last drive until spring time as the local roads have been salted.

Hope you all have fun tomorrow. Stay safe and have a Merry Christmas ☃️☃️
