Hi,

A few of us are heading to Curborough (Netherstowe Lane, WS13 8EJ) at 10am for the Shadow Sport Track, Cars and Coffee meet tomorrow morning.

It's free spectating as usual, with the track action starting at 10am.

Hopefully we'll see some of you there 👍

After yesterday's wet weather shenanigans in the Peaks, last night a few of use decided to do a last minute Curborough meet as the forecast was a bit more civilised!

Landing about 945, I had only a few minutes wait before being joined by @Glynn Walters@Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO , @HB46443, @Steve Bosworth, @neptune, @aeg, @jumbojackand @Martyn Vann - Warwickshire AO!

In total we had 7 Westies and 3 AO's, quite a line up for "SORN Eve" 😂

Not much in the cake department here, but the cholesterol filled fare seemed to go down well 😂

After couple of hours of friendly banter, loads of bacon butties and watching some eventful track action we all headed home.

Steve and Glynn decided to follow me for a fast blat past Catton Hall, through Rosliston to Swadlincote (where I peeled off to base camp) and then on their own up to Ticknall and Melbourne to enjoy some of South Derbyshires best driving roads... hope you enjoyed the drive guys, we are blessed with some fab tarmac in this neck of the woods 👍

A great morning, thanks to everyone for coming, hope to see you on the next one!

A good morning! Shame the heaven's opened up about 10 miles from home! I got mildly moist again! 😂

Seems you weren't alone in getting a bit damp!

@HB46443, @Steve Bosworth and @Glynn Walters also suffered with excess moistness 😂
