I'm probably OK for the morning, I'll do a convoy up assuming the weather is OK 👍

I might make this one.

Hi all,

We'll be doing the normal 9am meet at the A38/A50 services (DE65 6DX) and convoy up to Matlock.

If you're coming that way, feel free to tag along 👍

Not for me today, sadly. Car shopping with a nearly 17 year old 😱 Have a great run round!

Sounds more expensive than repairing/replacing my exhaust! Enjoy 😊

@Andy Westwood no Andy's wasted away in the making of this event

But we do have a new Cake Meister, that enormous slice of Banana and Pistachio cake in the middle belongs to @Glynn Walters, it was much larger than all the other slices, so be warned Westwood, you have competition!!!😆

@Andy Westwood cake report. Photo shows some of the cake. Julie’s were both pieces numbered 3 on the photo below (where does she put it??). Cake numbered 2 is Glenn’s banana cake which was huge. Cake numbered 1 is controversial. It is somewhat smaller than the slices of the same cake issued to others. I got constant moans from Mad Dog Pete all the way home (nearly 2 hours apart from the time he was asleep) complaining that his bit was the smallest. I must admit that the slice given to @aegwas soooo big that it was halved and shared (you will have to Google what that means).  Mine was so large that it didn’t fit into the camera frame size. You will just have to accept that it was much larger than any cake you have seen 😁😁 or eaten.

What an amazing turnout for a chilly October morning!

At 845 I was a little lonely....

By 9am we had a "rabble"!

Another fantastic Sunday in the Peaks!

And the look on Mad Dog’s face when he saw the @aeg entry for Cakegate 2! Priceless.
