Anyone free for a run over to the NY500 on Sunday 11th September?

I'll plan a route if there's enough interest.

Sunday 11th, we'll have a run over to the NY500 at Pickering. Meet at the Motorist at 10, set off between half past and 11. Taking the back roads to the A64, then along it towards Stamford Bridge, turning off before and again take back roads through Buttercrambe, Norton and Malton to Pickering. Aiming to get to the NY500 somewhere around half 12-1. Afterwards, Helmsley and York way, then home. How does that sound?

Are we all still OK for tomorrow? Both the Motorist and NY500 are open as normal. Coffee and cars at the Motorist and 4X4's at NY500.

Good run out today with 7 cars, 6 Westfields, @Paul Aspden in his Sylva and @Barnsley John on his pizza delivery bike.

Meeting at the Motorist at 10, ready for a 10:30 start, we were delayed for a bit waiting for Gareth to get his car started. Loose wire on the solenoid. The car was good all day after that was fixed.

Leaving around 11, our route through Cawood was diverted through some even smaller roads than normal due to a bike race. We made it to the A64, then followed some more minor roads to Malton, then to Pickering and the NY500. Bacon, fish finger sarnies and coffee was eaten, then off again. Paul, @Nicholas Rycroft and Julie left us there and headed for the coast leaving the rest of us to fuel up and head towards Helmsley, York then go our separate ways for home.

Thanks to all who came, not sure how many miles we did as my tracking app stopped working after half a mile.
